CIVIL DESIGN

We can provide conceptual civil designs to support Development Applications through to detailed designs and for construction drawings and specification for all types of civil works, from large scale industrial and residential greenfield subdivisions to two or three lot infill subdivisions. We work with closely with councils and town planners to obtain your development consent and subsequent construction certificates.

We can also provide specific design services for the following civil infrastructure:

  • Earthworks and site regrading.
  • Roads and driveways.
  • Stormwater drainage and management.
  • Water supply and sewerage.

DESIGN MANAGEMENT AND CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

In addition to civil design, we also provide design management and civil construction services to ensure a seamless delivery of your project. During the design phase we can arrange quotes for other consultants such as surveyors, geotechnical, structural and electrical engineers, and environmental consultants. We can then manage these consultants on your behalf ensuring adequate documentation and information is produced for the overall design.

Upon completion of the design, we can prepare a Bill of Quantities and estimate of the construction cost, prepare tender documentation and assist with tendering process and selection of a construction contractor.

During construction we can provide contract administration services, Superintendent role, check quality and ultimately provide construction reports and certification.

WATER & WASTEWATER

We have extensive experience in the design of water and wastewater trunk infrastructure and treatment plants. In particular we can offer:

  • Hydraulic analysis of water and wastewater transfer pumping systems and pump selection.
  • Detailed design of water and wastewater pumping stations including upgrades or modifications to existing pump stations.
  • Detailed design of trunk pipelines for water or wastewater transfer.
  • Safety in Design workshop facilitation and report production.


Jed Civil provided comprehensive detailed design drawings and a Bill of Quantities for the construction of over 30 landslip sites in Bellingen Shire on time and within agreed budget. During the tender and construction phases they respond to RFIs quickly and effectively. I would be happy to work with Jed Civil on future projects.
